Educational Philosophy
Learning is a lifelong pursuit, like happiness. Let your formal education not impede your personal discovery; instead, let it help you to explore this world and beyond. My greatest hope as a teacher is that I help someone to learn not only the answers but the happiness with the never-ending questions of life.
Language, oral or written, is as much a part of who we are as our body, senses, family and history. It is our means for knowing and communicating our life's experience. A firm grasp and knowledge of one language can begin a journey of self discovery and shared experiences in languages not yet dreamed.
Literature is the art of crafting new worlds with letters and sounds. Literature should not be merely an escape from reality or a reflection of it; instead, it should be its own reality that e our understanding and interaction with it and our own external world.Teach me about whom you are and where you want to go. Let me teach you about our English language and the literary world written within it.
